About

"P10" refers to the "Power of 10." This language was created by an organization called Project for Public Spaces. Project for Public Spaces promotes active and engaging public spaces around the world and educates people on the importance of such spaces.

River Prairie Park was built using the placemaking principles developed by Project for Public Spaces. Power of 10 means that in order to activate a public space to the fullest potential, there needs to be a variety of activities and points of interest that appeal to a diverse demographic.

The P10 Festival is designed to follow the same principles, and will celebrate the activities and points of interest that people in the Chippewa Valley are passionate about.
